Here at the Evil Monito office, we don’t normally condone drinking while on the job. But as an Editorial Office, there are moments throughout the day when we share a collective round of shots of 10 Cane Rum. We’ve worked with 10 Cane before on various events which we have hosted at our studio, and normally we enjoy them as a tropical mixed drink in the form of a cucumber mojito. To be completely honest, whisky has been the choice of drink on those long nights among our editorial staff. However, one fateful night we decided to take a neat shot of 10 Cane and, much to our surprise, not only did it have a pleasant warm aftertaste reminiscent of whisky, it also set the tone for more energy within our office. Perhaps it is the fact that 10 Cane Rum is made with ten stalks of pure sugar cane as opposed to molasses that is normally found in typical rum. The result is a smooth drink that quenches the thirst of most angst-ridden writers looking for an extra kick. Kudos to 10 Cane for unexpectedly surprising us all.

You guys are not kidding. One of my friends brought a bottle of 10Cane to a party, and the flavor is incredible. Never thought I would enjoy rum on the rocks–without the palm tree…
Aren’t you guys (and / or) your friends part owners of 10 Cane? Subjective journalism?
Hello Anonymous.
As we mentioned in our post, we work with 10 Cane. We work with them because we love working with Kenny Mac (LVMH) and we thoroughly enjoy the drink. Subjective journalism? Or do you mean Objective journalism. Either way, we enjoy 10 Cane Rum and we encourage you to try out the drink yourself.
Cheers.
subjective, objective, schmo-jective… who cares?
back to my first comment… “10 Cane send a case up my way” or a bottle perhaps? heh heh heh
Love 10 Cane Rum. They just got it up here in Pismo Beach, CA at my local Deli/Market. Makes the BEST mojitos!
