What neighborhood do you closely identify with? What makes it so unique to you?
Ironically it’s a place I have just had to reluctantly leave due to the ‘regeneration’ of the area with residents like myself unable to afford the cost of housing, Kings Cross in London Town, right in the heart city — I lived there for a long time, it had a real bad reputation 10 years ago, but it had a real community vibe, big families, couples, people from all walks of life, I used to DJ in a few spots around the area so knew a lot of my fellow locals..happy times

What’s the greatest item that you’ve dug up at a local garage sale? How much did it cost?
a watkins copicat echo tape machine - proper old school sound business, liberated it for a tenner and some sweet talk

If you could interview one unsung hero, who would it be? Why?
For all my adult life there is something that has always remained constant, the same pair of techics 1200 turntables! they have been everywhere with me, the lights have gone but they still sound so good, I would love to meet the guys who designed them, not sure what I’d ask but I would definitely buy them a pint!
