What neighborhood do you closely identify with? What makes it so unique to you?
Mt Vernon in Baltimore. It is where I found my roots, started my current path of artistic fulfillment, and learned that the line between success and failure is how much you talk and how much you do. But lately it’s been Williamsburg here in Brooklyn. Good energy. it’s a bit too heavy on the hipster vibe, but there is still a good spirit.

What’s the greatest item that you dug up at your local garage sale? How much did it cost?
Not much of a garage sale kind of guy, but in Brussels, i found some rad art deco stuff at this huge outdoor flea market. Got this puke green clock with gilded gold hands for 5 bucks. it sound gaudy, but it was great.

If you could interview one unsung hero, who would it be? Why?
No one. interviewing people makes me feel awkward.

Where are your favorite local spots to eat?
Sal’s pizza. Brooklyn pizza at its finest.
Robeling Tea Room. Chill vibe, and best Mac and Cheese this side of the Mason Dixon Line.
Sugar in LES because they have good deserts and are open 24 hours.

What are your favorite local nightlife scenes?
I am such a hermit these days that my favorite nightlife scene is just a shitty bar with cheap beer. Current favorites are Legion on Metropolitan Ave in Brooklyn. Also Barcade on Union Ave in Brooklyn

What songs are at the top of your playlist at this very moment?
Ratatat, Girl Talk, M.I.A., Santogold, Kings of Leon, Saul William/Niggy Tardust, and Helmet.

What new projects you are building on right now?
Always something coming up. As far as exhibitions, i am working on:
