Thom Browne

Thom Browne excites me. What he is bringing to traditional menswear and pushing the edges in redefining the suit is something that appeals to me on multiple levels. I think with all things, one’s interpretation should not only challenge the consumer, but it should educate them. Browne’s approach of the southern genteel class fused with the classic 1960s Kennedy era allows him to go to the extreme, whether its the ultra shrunken blazer to the 3/4 cut trouser pant where he encourages men to show off their shins and to wear their oxfords in bare feet. While it might not be the look for all men, it’s the commentary of pushing the limits of what is proper and radical which intrigues me.
