Now we can definitely say that all the hard work has paied off for Crystal Castles; what began humbly as an underground noise outfit from the LA lo-fi scene, the Smell, has become a ubiquitous dance sensation. Here at the EM office we can’t get enough of Alice Glass and Ethan Fawn’s song “Crimewave” as remixed by the inventive art rock band, Health. “Crimewave” is hypnotic and I’ve found myself in somewhat of a trance as Sylvia (our wonderful Editor-in-Chief) constantly chides me for not laying out key pieces for our next issue which we anticipate as one of our most dynamic issues we’ve released to date.
