What you are watching is a delightfully charming episode starring Shaun the Sheep, an award-winning series from Aardman animations. Christopher Sadler, the U.K. director, employed meticulously detailed and colorful claymation reminiscent of Wallace & Gromit. For those who are as big of a fan of Nick Park as I am, it should interest you to know that Still Life was originally conceived by the talented animator. Sadler uses an interesting technique of replacing the spoken language with goofy facial expressions, onomatopoeic rigmarole, and hilarious barnyard antics to drive the story to new comedic heights. A rollicking good time that will leave you in stiches!
