It’s true that no one has mastered the art of the mash-up quite like Consuelo Castiglioni and her Spring 2009 Marni show was nothing less than you would expect from the eclectic designer: lots of pattern and lots of texture thrown together into the most charming of wearable outfits. More a broad spectrum of references than a totally bohemian aesthetic, Castiglioni brings it all together by keeping the silhouette trim when it needs to be and voluminous where it should be.
