A judge has ruled that Harvey Weinstein backed Project Runway will not be allowed to jump ship from the NBC owned Bravo network to go over to uterine friendly programmer Lifetime. This week’s ruling also stated that The Weinstein Co. must stop any and all promotion or marketing for the show until a conclusion has been reached. Production of season 6 of the show has not been effected by the judge’s decision, although the debut of the show which was scheduled to premiere on Lifetime in November and has now been pushed back to January. Neither network is prepared to let go without a fight, and for the time being the Bravo network is prohibited from airing any future episodes of the show beyond the close of this season.
