Ladies Lotto is a dynamic collective of empowered and creative women who are making amazing things happen from NYC to CHI to LA.

Ever-mindful that cultural creation and social impact go hand in hand, they have focused their efforts on bringing awareness to the reality that 1.1 billion people in the world don’t have access to safe, clean, drinking water. Access to clean water is also a growing women’s issue in many regions of the world, as the burden falls upon women to walk hours carrying heavy containers filled with clean water back to their villages. And while many don’t know, the number one reason in the world pubescent girls drop out of school is due to the lack of sanitation.

To bring real and positive change, Ladies Lotto is collaborating with Charity:Water, a non-profit organization that funds sustainable clean water solutions, with the goal of raising $30,000 to build a clean water well for a community in Ethiopia.

The Ladies Lotto multi-city fundraiser will be have major events in Los Angeles on December 3rdfrom 7-10 pm at Royal/T Café, and New York City on December 8th, from 7-10 pm at the Event Space. Each event will take inspiration from Ethiopian jazz and North African design while cultivating awareness within each city.

The benefits will include themed décor with interactive vignettes for an on-site silent auction featuring Pop Artist Todd Goldman, Scosha NYC, Claw Money, IHeart, A Peace Treaty, Dirty Librarian Chains, 80%20 Shoes, Rachel Comey, Ghava Press, Powerhouse Books, and more. Each event will offer an array of celebrity musicians, DJs Lindsey, Star Eyes, Valida, Lady Sha and guest performers to reflect the native sounds of Ethiopia. Ladies Lotto will provide an online auction of products and services for those who will not be able to attend each supporting event.
