Leibovitz vs. Blanchett

Two of the most talented women in their given professions team up in a stunning layout for the February issue of Vanity Fair. Photography powerhouse Annie Leibovitz shoots the ever glorious Oscar winner Cate Blanchett in a series of looks from the likes of John Galliano and Gareth Pugh. Never one to shy away from the artistic or the progressive, Ms Blanchett’s ethereal beauty and grace paired with Leibovitz’s eye for the subtly seductive creates a truly breathtaking meeting of the minds.

The vanity fair exhibit at LACMA was amazing. Cate Blanchett is a timeless beauty. Annie Leibovitz is brilliant. What more can you want in visual stimulant? Leibovitz can bring out all of her subjects dramatic beauty and grace, while merging their state of being or element with hers. Her subjects would agree that being shot by her is an absolute priviledge.
