Check out this floating house created by the architects of MOS (Michael Meredith and Hilary Sample.) A site-specific modern dwelling built on one of the Great Lakes in Ontario, Canada. Its breathtaking location and cutting-edge design is really a sight to behold both day and night. The project began in 2005 and was constructed on 186 square meters of land.

These are so cool. They remind me of the slick modern prefab homes seen in Dwell but they float. All we need now is a hovercraft version. Happy New Year Evilmonito.com. Thanks for the tasteful content. Keep it up and good luck in 2009.
