picture-22

EM:  Occupation and Position.
BRUSADELLI: Editor-in-chief of Be|Different Magazine;  an artist (you can view my work at:  www.lorenzobrusadelli.it) and I moderate my visual blog, www.getacandy.com

EM:  What makes your magazine so unique?
Our name is Be|Different because we do not want to replicate other people’s ideas. We try to give a voice to artists that need the exposure and deserve it.  I think that our magazine is uniquely diverse, because we publish painting, photography, digital art, collage, sculpture, poetry without preferences about the media used to make the art.

EM:  What’s the greatest item that you found at your local garage/estate sale?

In Italy there aren’t so many garage/estate sales. However the strangest item that I bought a couple of years ago in Palermo (Sicily), was a butcher’s hook, that I use as a hat-hanger.

EM:  What’s your favorite youtube video.

BLU – “Muto” a great street-artist from Bologna (Italy)

EM:  Where are your favorite local spots to eat?
Believe it or not, my favorite spot is my Grandmother’s kitchen!

bedifferent EM: If you could interview one unsung hero, who would it be? Why?
My painting teacher, because she hasn’t given up yet in spite of my awful “masterpieces.”

EM:  What songs are at the top of your playlist at this very moment?
The Beatles – “Helter Skelter”
Kraftwerk – “Man-Machine”
Morphine – “The Night”

EM:  What is your current bedside read?
Rumble Tumble by Joe R. Lansdale

EM:  What is your favorite city to visit when you travel abroad? And why?
Rome. I think that it’s the best city in  the world. I visit it almost every year and I fully agree with all the people who say that it’s a magical place.

EM:  What new projects you are building on right now?
We’re going to enlarge our website and continuing to update my visual blog www.getacandy.com which is surely worth a visit.
