The Manhattan Project

The Manhattan Project is a classic film. Boy genius discovers a covert government laboratory where plutonium is being manufactured. How does he find out? Simple: He gets invited by a hotshot scientist who gives him a free tour so he can gain brownie points to date his mom. Yeah we know this sounds all too good. And it is. Films really seemed to be more simplistic back then. The idea of a domestic teenage terrorist might have sounded whimsical then, but wouldn’t fly well too in our day and age. Regardless, we had an enjoyable time watching the boy wonder create a home made atomic bomb which he modeled after a soccer ball, because  well the kid played soccer, and what better way to create a bomb right?
