From BOOMBOX to GHETTO BLASTER to BRIXTON BRIEFCASE to now…
It’s interesting, for the earlier part of my life before D.C. and NYC, my home was way beyond the burbs, I mean way out in the woods, but I got my first BOOMBOX in the 4th or 5th grade. I was far from the ghettos I would later come to live in and around, but I always liked my music loud, no matter what I was “blasting”. I guess I’ve been playing it loud from ever since, so it’s nice to go back and pay respect to the people that helped make it so popular, the phenomenon reached all the way out past the burbs…
