Dr. Martin Luther King’s Last Speech

 

On April 3, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King delivered his last speech, “I See The Promised Land”, in Memphis, Tennessee.  The next day, he was assassinated at the Lorraine Motel.  On August 28, 2008, President-elect Barack Obama officially accepted the Democratic nomination on the 45th anniversary of Dr. King’s “I Have A Dream” speech.
