Nom de Guerre

Nom de Guerre Utility ShirtNew York-based collective Nom de Guerre combines influences from art, fashion and New York City subcultures to create unique lines of clothing. This upcoming season, they take on militarism and the Sturm und Drang artistic movement of late 18th century Germany. The resulting line is a mix of free expression of extremes and military ideology, a conceptual regiment and mythic subculture of wafer-thin European boys dressed in light blues and greys, midnight blues and whites and DM-3 Gore-Tex outerwear to befit any traveling soldier. The “Storm and Stress” collection takes cues from regimental European uniforms of the past and combines them with modern silhouettes.
