This weekend Mochilla and ArtDontSleep will celebrate the next in line from their Timeless series. Dilla was a close friend of Mochilla. Even before they personally knew him, his music inspired and fed many hungry ears all across our nation–from the Pharcyde days through Tribe and De La, Busta and on into Neo-soul and the next generation through Slum and Jaylib.
His music went through many transformations often rough and snapping, sometimes smooth and languid and more often than not, experimental and surprising. →
