Chances are good that the last thing on your mind when it comes to January in New York City is a pair of sunglasses. Growing up in New York, braving ever-so-abundant rain and snowfall, one must incorporate into his style what looks good and what actually functions. Thankfully, for every day of salted sidewalks and snorkel-ridden NYC-ers, there is an equal amount of absolutely gorgeous sunny winter days. Barren oak and birch trees in Central Park and the brilliant reflections off the Hudson River in Battery Park help create the beauty of a NYC winter. Eyewear plays a big part in the landscape and overall look when it comes to NYC style, but no brand really focuses on this particular season when showcasing a collection. Mosley Tribes wants to show you the true lifestyle of our core customer, not just from an LA perspective—we’ve traveled throughout the world to showcase the versatility of our brand.

For Summer/Fall ‘09 we have incorporated Autumn/Winter looks and colors into the Collection, from a town and country perspective. Our goal was to introduce a Collection suitable for an ultra sunny, cold day on the LES (Lower East Side), yet still works for a weekend of snowboarding upstate.

BROMLEY

Slightly oversized mixed-media sunglass hand-crafted of lightweight metal, encased in thin polished plastic on either side of the lenses. Modified aviator shape sports a double-bridge brow bar. The Mosley Tribes logo is laminated in complimenting silver or gold at the temple tip, which matches the acetate color of the lens framework. Color options include rich, earth-based tones, such as Oak, Navy and Horn. 6-based lens curve includes CR-39 solid or gradient lenses, providing superior UV protection.

FLYNN

Sleek unisex design is hand-crafted of polished acetate in a classically retro-inspired shape. Hand-sculpted in angular cut plastic, this frame features tapered temples and an eye frame so thin it almost appears non-existent. Plastic nose pads provide additional comfort and fit. The Mosley Tribes logo is embossed on both end-pieces. 6-based lens curve includes CR-39 solid or gradient lenses, providing superior UV protection.

RAYNES

Double-bridge aviator is hand-crafted of high-quality, lightweight metal in a slight teardrop shape. Air Tech nose pads automatically adjust volume of air for a snug fit. Co-injected silicone temple tips add comfort and maximum grip. Color options include the new lens option Sapphire Flash. 6-based lens curve in CR-39 solid lenses provide superior UV protection.
