Handmade Music In New York

A week from now (on March 19th), New York will be having their monthly installment of Create Digital Music’s Handmade Music series.  They are currently looking for anyone and everyone that would like to contribute their functional and/or non-functional hand built hardware, circuit bent projects, codes and patches or any other nonsense you’d like to share with others.  If you are interested in participating you can fill out the form HERE to let them know what your intentions are.  It is a very open ended and accepting event so don’t be afraid to submit anything.  Of course, you can also just show up to witness what other crazy people are building in their tiny apartments.

The event will be taking place at 3rd Ward in Brooklyn and there will be a special guest group from CommunityOne East, who normaly do things like work with servers and such.  Tonight though, you can expect some serious Java based, music making madness.  Create Digital Music claims that they will be providing more details as the event draws closer but I wouldn’t count on it.  More or less, just show up and get your mind blown.
