In collaboration with Maine’s Quoddy Trail Moccasin Company, N.Y. label 3sixteen debuts its first entry into footwear. The deck boat shoes combine street-ready craftsmanship with classic New England style. The shoes are made of 100% Chromexcel leather (earth toned and hand-glazed) and are fully calfskin-lined for comfort. They also feature a full leather vamp, nickel eyelets and a handsewn lock-stitched tip and kicker. The black and navy colorways will be released in select accounts as part of 3sixteen’s Autumn 2009 collection.
Quoddy was founded by Kevin and Kirsten Shorey who, with their children, are fifth-generation shoemakers whose expert sewers craft each shoe by hand.
