TI$AVISION

Taz is dear friend of mine. A true artist and visionary. We bonded over our shared conversation of the way the universe works. The fact that he is a talened music producer having worked with Dr. Dre to Erykah Badu is one thing, the fact that he also is involved with fashion design with his MCM collections is another thing, but what makes Taz great is his unique perspective of the world. press-09EM: Occupation and Position.
Life Artist / Designer / Musician / Creative Director of Demon Slayer Family and Shop At Portals Online Store

EM: Who does the cleaning at home?
My Sister and I both do the cleaning at home.  Her cleaning method is moving things around and hiding them in out-of-sight places like the laundry hamper or under the sofa.  Sometimes I’ll open my pantry to grab a snack and I’ll see a stack of design books, sunglasses and last weeks junk mail.

Lovers – “Igloos For Ojos”

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

I AM THE WEST (Able Heart Records) is the kind of album I could listen to on a Walkman just after watching my VHS tape of The Breakfast Club. I consider that a good thing. The sweet melodies coupled with Carolyn Berk’s lyrics are a charming listen for anyone interested in hearing a story of her heart, which turns out to be an appealing and humorous adventure. Carolyn was nice enough to answer a few questions for us.

The Face of a Killer

tyson_1

He could of been the greatest there ever was.  That’s what my father used to tell me.  Some of my most vivid memories growing up in the city are of lying belly-down on the hardwood floor of our upper west side apartment watching Tyson fights with my dad.
