If you’ve ever wondered what Thoreau really felt about his time at Walden then your dreams are set to come true this Friday thanks to the first co-production from the people at Machine Project and 826LA.  There’s an 8pm and a 10pm show, both requiring RSVP so get yourself on the list quickly because you know those lit nerds are on point with their email responses.

It’s highly suggested that you bring your own seating and that you get there early because their studio is still filled with a forest.

That’s not all Machine Project has in store for this weekend though.  Friday night at midnight Anthony McCann will be telling ghost stories and again, RSVP is required.

Anthony will be back in action Saturday night at 8pm reads poetry in the forest aided only by the light of the moon.  (Yup…RSVP)

Rounding out a busy weekend  on Sunday is a lecture you’ll definitely want to RSVP for ASAP because we all know that the nerds of all nerds are the bigfoot nerds.  Get your name on the list for 8pm and show up early because the forest is sure to be packed for:

1) A history of bigfoot sightings, activity, etc. in the area, and a practicum on field techniques led by local bigfoot experts Josh Grolemund and Scott Minton.
2) Casts of bigfoot feet, bigfoot-tracking tools, etc.
3) A discussion of what kinds of forests are suited to Bigfoot because of his relationship with other flora and fauna.
4) Unsanctioned Sasquatch vs. the Easter Bunny debates (hopefully).
