iPhone Leaving AT&T?

AT&T’s exclusive deal to carry the Apple iPhone may soon come to an end. Since the phone has been released, this exclusivity has enabled AT&T to attract many new subscribers. 4.3 million subscribers switched to the iPhone in the second half of 2008, and 40% of those were new to AT&T. That is quite a significant number considering it is the result of a single, nevertheless an all-in-one blockbuster, gadget. As expected, the iPhone is still in high demand. CEO Randall Stephenson is trying to extend the contract until 2011 but Apple has not commented. 1. OK so whats going on?!! no more speculating! Is the iphone coming to verizon or not? If so will it happen before 2011? I know I sound impatient and ignorant cause no one can truely answer this question. I’ve been waiting for a straight forward answer for over a year now. I guess i’m just going to have to switch over to AT&T to get an iphone if I want one any time soon.

  2. at&t is rated one of the worst for customer service by consumer report. Verizon and TMobile as much better. I’m not switching to Att for an iphone so apple better figure it out and make it available to either tmobile or verizon.

  3. I’m pretty sure that apple and at&t will do fine with out your business. They don’t have anything to figure out.

  4. LOL!

I Agree with you algar. I know both companies are in a good position.
for all we know bubba probably can’t afford a contract plain.

I bet you even have a Boost mobile prepaid. LMAO.

    FYI

T-mobile sucks the only thing good about them is their price for minutes.

  5. So what’s gonna happen to the millions of users worht he iPhone? Verizin better pay to have us switched over or something. I’m NOT getting screwed out of anything. That s for sure
