London Miles Gallery and Nerd Core present a two man show with Comic book artists Jim Mahfood and Scott Campbell (aka Scott C.)  SUPREME BROSHIP is the first collaborative showcase of original artworks, paintings, drawings and new collaborative artworks by the two artists.  Both of them will be in attendance for the opening reception as well as doing a special comic book signing at Forbidden Planet (179 Shaftesbury Avenue) on Wednesday, June 10th 2009, from 4pm to 7pm to promote their new hard cover releases from Nerd Core.   And an opening artist reception on June 11th from 7 to 10pm.

Supreme Broship is a colorful and adult humor exhibition of American comic artists- right in time to kick off the London Summer.  Make sure to join us on Thursday, June 11th for the opening reception and first view of the new exhibition. Both Jim and Scott will be in attendance, and here to sign your comic books and prints. Exhibition on show until July 5th, 2009

picture-118Jim Mahfood aka Food One is a muralist, comic book artist, painter, live art
show rocker and drunken freestyler extraordinaire. Jim has been working professionally as an artist since 1997, amassing an impressive cult following across the globe. His comic book work includes illustration for filmmaker Kevin Smith’s “Clerks” comics and various Spider Man projects at Marvel.

His creator-owned comic books include: GRRL SCOUTS, KICK DRUM COMIX, STUPID COMICS, FELT, ONE PAGE FILLER MAN, 40oz COLLECTED, PUTTIN’ THE BACKBONE BACK, BAD IDEAS, CLASSIC 40 Ounce, and many more.

Food’s art was featured in SLUG (Atmosphere) and MURS’ (Living Legends) music video for the track “Early Morning Tony” off of their successful Felt 2 album. picture-26Scott Campbell (aka Scott C) is an accomplished comic book artist and painter, who currently lives in New York. Scott has contributed to many different publications, including Flight comics, Nickelodeon Magazine and Double Fine Action Comics.

Never failing to impress, Scott proves to be a particularly versatile artist. With skills extending beyond the realism of illustration, his recent major projects include the forthcoming video game, Brutal Legend and a successful solo show titled ” Home Slice” at Nucelus Gallery in Los Angeles, California. His work is also being exhibited at the group show “Quiet Storm” at the 1988 Gallery, proving his successful path from comic book artist and illustrator to regular gallery exhibitor.
