Birds of a feather flock together. And apparently so do lions and tigers and celebrities…oh my! In RARE, a first time publication by Nicole Maloney, the photographer portrays some of the biggest names (Glenn Close, Paris Hilton, Dustin Hoffman, Barry Manilow-perhaps Cindy Crawford’s forward can tell us why?) with Mother Nature’s biggest contenders….
and I’m sure there’s a prey on words there somewhere. But one has to ask: are celebrities really akin to endangered species? Perhaps teen queens are lowering in numbers as they rack up DUIs and go off the radar during rehab stints, but their public displays of disaster aren’t exactly exotic. And phew! Otherwise TMZ would be out of the job. But thanks, Nicole Maloney, for providing us with quite an stimulating thought process. At the very least, I’m sure we can all learn something about firemen, birds and the bees….or at least Richard Branson and his lion.
