Free Iran

Artist Ashkahn Shahparnia works with minimal pieces, reducing superfluous elements to create bold, sharp imageries. His recent work, entitled “Free Iran,” is politically inspired and is available to the public in three standard sizes. Upon his own request, Shahparnia encourages supporters to download the posters for free, print them and then, circulate the pieces amongst friends, family and community members. You can take these files to any printing place of your choice. Printing in color is preferred. Spread the word!!!!!! We can all make a difference…

Profile:

“His playfully bold aesthetic reduces complex visuals into a kind of Zen koan- if the omniscient monk standing atop the mountain had a sense of humor, that is. Unusual textures, bright colors, quirky ideas, personified text, meld together, connecting idea to image in a hyperspectra rainbow bridge. Shahparnia’s works are like well-crafted pop songs: fun, punchy, and impossible to get out of your mind-belying the virtuosic and well-studied orchestra conductor waving his magic wand behind the façade.” -Sasha Lee (Beautiful Decay Magazine)
