Daniel Zana, who has been in the vinyl toy and art community for some time now, is working on a documentary film entitled “The Vinyl Frontier”. The film captures the minds of artists and collectors of the world of vinyl toys and gives you a glimpse of what keeps fans wanting more and what makes artists want to give more.

Zana plans to screen some of his documentary during the weekend of the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) event where you can be sure to spot groups of loyal vinyl toy fans and collectors. The exclusive sneak peek of “The Vinyl Frontier” will be hosted by 5&ADime on July 25th at 7 P.M. so if you happen to be in the area or if you know you’re going to be at SDCC, make sure you stop by 5&ADime. The 5&ADime store is located in Downtown San Diego, on 701 8th Avenue and G Street. After the showing, there will be a Q&A by the director and there will also be a chance for viewers to meet and chat with some of the artists in the film. The lineup includes Tara McPherson, Bwana Spoons, Jermaine Rogers, Attaboy, Ron English, El Maz, Sucklord and many more.
