New District 9 Trailer

Things continue to get more interesting.  The new trailer for District 9 recently released and if the film brings half of what the preview suggests we have a very intriguing movie on our hands.  This was a film to be curious about.  But now District 9 is starting to look like something to be excited about.

Love, Summer of.

The Love, Summer of Tote Bags were created to celebrate the magic in the air that happens during the summer, especially right now. They were made by Guzman-Cronin, a collaboration between artists Meg Shoemaker & Phil Pinto, as a fundraising effort for the production of their short film, scheduled to begin shooting in Fall 2009.

Q&A: Hung Vanngo

Hung Vanngo is a Canadian Make up artist living in New York City represented by the Wall group.  Moving from Vietnam at a young age to Calgary he began his career in Toronto before moving to NYC.  Hung has shot with world renowned photographers such as Greg Kadel, Alexi Lubomirski and Ellen Von Unwerth as well as the famous faces of Helena Christensen, Chloe Sevigny, Renee Zellweger.

CA Boom!!!

This year’s CA Boom show took place in the Modern style, former Robinsons Department Store in Beverly Hills. (With its large areas of fake gold decoration conspicuously out of keeping with the exterior, which was added when the building served as a casino set.)
