The Breakfast Club is one of those classic American movies that every other American teenager can relate to and finds themselves identifying with one of the five characters in the film: the Jock, the Princess, the Brain, the Criminal, or the Basket Case. The coming-of-age comedy directed by John Hughes features an all-star 80s cast including Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy. Get a chance to relive your high school years at this special screening of the film in memory and celebration of John Hughes on Tuesday August 25th. Of course, because this is a special screening and celebration, what better way to do so than arriving dressed in your most fab 80s outfit? Yes. If you’re coming, you better come dressed as an athlete, a princess, a basket case, a geek, or a criminal so tell your friends and plan your own reunion. You can also upload your best high school photo here which will be featured at the event and prizes will be given for the best photos.
This special event is part of Cinema Tuesdays, a monthly series curated by Flux which celebrates innovative films at The Montalbán, Nike Sportswear’s unqiue retail and special events theatre in Hollywood. The Reunion starts at 7 P.M., be sure to arrive in your best 80s outfits.
