The brainchild of model Joni Harbeck and photographer Neil Krug, Pulp captures a series of saturated and enigmatic photos shot over the duo’s year long collaboration. Drawing inspiration from classic elements of 60′s and 70′s culture such as LP covers, vintage books and B-movie cinema, Krug and Harbeck, who shot almost exclusively with Polaroid film, achieved some pretty authentic and gorgeous stills with very little modern manipulation. Posting random shots to his Flickr account since he and Harbeck starting working together, Krug told The New York Times’ Karin Nelson that he’d never “received this much feedback on my work before” and although the book has yet to hit bookshelves, individual prints are for sale at PulpArtBook.com.
