The people at Social Science is proud to present 40 Years in the Desert, in remembrance of the Godfather of Rocksteady! They guarantee fun and spiritual vibes for those who can join this musical affair. There will also be a cash bar with cheapie drinks and DJ’s spinning The Best of Desmond and Associates.

The night will featuring enlightening Desmond Dekker covers with a bunch of our favorite bands. Each act will be playing one original and one Desmond Dekker cover to celebrate the 40th anniversary of “Israelites” (in 1969 Desmond Dekker broke through the US charts as the first Jamaican artist to have a top ten hit!)

Performers include: Obi Best, Emily Wells, The Monolators, B.R.A.M., Dorian Wood, Le Switch, Correatown, The Belle Brigade, Mooey Moobau, Eagle and Talon, Traps PS, The Sweet Hurt, Nowcloud, Vincent Minor and Fu Dogs.
