Over the past 5 years, the median age of magazine readers has remained consistently younger than the media age of total U.S. adults

I came across this video while scanning through the blogosphere earlier today. I am a huge advocate for “new” media and thought that it was interesting to view an embedded video released by the Magazine Publishers of America. The video features a series of 140 character texts to the public and advertisers that the print industry is still alive. It can’t be easy for traditional media to incorporate YouTube and Twitter for this medium but at the end of the day, the message will be delivered to the masses.

Perhaps, there will be some hope for the magazine industry after all.
