In the ’70s, Eric Haze bombed the streets of New York, creating his legend through Krylon paints and “SE3″ tag. His style and penmanship are recognizable for having pioneered the visual language of early hip-hop culture. He went on to design iconic logos for Public Enemy and EPMD and set trends in streetwear before it became the major industry it is today. Since then, his style has been frequently imitated for its distinctive penmanship and free-form type. Encompassing his work as street artist and designer, Haze’s new website features his product designs, fine art and personal blog. Haze currently works with clients such as Nike and Stüssy and has had his work exhibited in contemporary art galleries around the world.
