CINEMA TUESDAYS at Nike Sportswear at The Montalbán will scare you out of your seat with a surprise screening event entitled FRIGHT NIGHT on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Curated by Flux, the highly successful film series has featured premieres and advance screenings of some of the most-talked about films including: Carlos Cuarón’s Rudo y Cursi, George Tillman Jr’s Notorious, Charlie Kaufman’s Synecdoche, New York, Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla and Justice documentary A Cross The Universe, and celebrated guests have included Michel Gondry, Thomas Campbell, Seth Rogen, Patricia Arquette, Elijah Wood, Spike Jonze, Wayne Coyne, Busy P and Shirley Manson. Always free with invitation, 2009 shines with monthly screenings of CINEMA TUESDAYS at The Montalbán, Nike Sportswear’s unique retail and special events theatre in Hollywood.

Please join us for an unforgettable CINEMA TUESDAYS experience and a screening so frightening that we are not announcing the title of the film. We wouldn’t want to scare you too much in advance so be prepared for the unexpected and a macabre night at The Montalbán. Since opening in 1927, the Hollywood Beaux Arts Theatre has been plagued with a series of terrifying incidents, and with Halloween approaching who knows what could happen next. Guests are encouraged to dress turn-of-the-century attire (blacks, whites and reds), and the evening will include a Q&A with the director and a post-screening reception featuring cocktails by Belvedere Vodka. All members of the press are invited to cover this special event at The Montalbán.
