Tornado Design will be hosting a one-night art show, Enlighten! One Night of Light taking place at Helms Bakery Building in Culver City from 5 P.M. to 11 P.M. This one-of-a-kind exhibition will be featuring lamp shades covered with the printed artworks of a diverse and prominent group of fine artists, illustrators and designers in support of art education for children in Los Angeles. The limited edition lampshades will be available for one night only. The lamps can be previewed and pre-ordered on the website at www.enlightenshow.com. The community art event will feature limited edition lampshades covered by the works of 85 L.A. artists. 10% of all sales from the artwork will go to Inner-City Arts. Inner-City Arts is a non-profit organization that aims to offer opportunities and instruction in visual arts, dance, drama, music ceramics and animation to under-privileged kids in the heart of L.A.’s skid row. The event itself is free, yes, free and to make things better, there will be good music and good food. The Icy Hot Trio will be providing the music and catering will be provided by Louise’s Trattoria. Come prepared for a night of art, music, food and a great crowd.
