Cooper Bikes

The fixed-gear craze hit a fever pitch when Urban Outfitters decided to peddle customized track bikes to the masses, and surely there will be no small amount of hate as the trend continues to grow. Regardless, these bikes, made by the same company that brought you the Mini Cooper, are pretty sweet. Built with quality parts and cleanly designed, the Cooper Bikes are available as road bikes or fixed-gears. If “Reynolds 531 frame” and “Sturmey Archer Drivetrain” mean anything to you, check out the full technical specs after the jump.

Each Cooper bike uses a Reynolds 531 frame, Brooks Swallow Saddle, Sturmey Archer Drivetrain, Mavic Open Sport rims and Tektro brakes. The T100 Sebring and Monza models are single-speed track bikes, with flip-flop rear hub for possible coasting, while the T200 Reims is a five-speed road bike designed for light touring. The limited edition T200 Championship 50 commemorates the anniversary of Cooper’s F1 World Championship victory.
