HBO provides an exclusive backstage view of President Obama’s campaign that was filmed last year. The documentary provides footage of the President (then Sentaor of Chicago) and his campaign staff traveling the country to speak to Americans during his victory in Iowa to making history as the first African American president of the United States. The HBO documentary is produced by Edward Norton and directed by Amy Rice and Alicia Sams.

I recall my first encounter with the President, at a rally in downtown Washington, DC in 2007. Since then, I have seen the crowd grow from hundreds to thousands and finally to millions of people traveling to the District during Inauguration Day. His charisma and ability to engage the crowd is something that few Presidents have done in the past.
