Japanese artist, Kinpro has a distinct simplistic style all her own in which she creates forms and figures derived and inspired from nature. Her work can be seen in a wide range of fields including publications, interiors and fashions. Her major work includes “GRIMM” (2003, Germany) published by Die Gestalten Verlag, “ANDERSEN” in 2004, “LeBron James:Chamber Of Fear” published by NIKE in 2005, “Hotel Fox” the hotel room redesign project, produced by Project Fox, “WALLPAPER exhibition” produced by MAXALOT+SHIFT, an e-zine . In 2007, Kinpro was invited for artist-in-residency in REIMS, France for a month, making artworks for a solo exhibition. She also held a workshop for a kindergarten class and also participated in “Zune Originals” produced by Microsoft, and “Born in HOKKAIDO” produced by Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art. Kinpro has also collaborated with Vodafone and Howies and will be starting her newest project with BBC.
