ApSci composed of New York-bred, husband and wife duo Raphael La Motta and Dana Diaz-Tutaan, moved back to NYC this summer, after spending the past few years in Sydney (where they recorded the new album). Best Crisis Ever finds the duo moving away from hip-hop influences and guest cameos that marked their debut, and more towards genre-bending electro-pop. Dana’s otherworldly voice is a versatile instrument that adds an alluring depth and charm to Ra’s complex, detailed production and biting lyricism. And in their own fantastic stop-motion animation video ”Crazy Crazy Insane,”  the couple showcases their imaginative and quirky spirit.
