Join The Cinefamily to celebrate the release of Wholpin’s latest two DVDs: Wholphin No. 9 & 10. The screening will include Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s fiery adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s short story, “Sparks” (starring Carla Gugino and Eric Stoltz); a Maurice Sendak childhood memory re-enacted by Spike Jonze and Catherine Keener; a documentary about a Pentecostal minister who hears a “prophetic whisper” from God that he will become the “Rolls Royce” of filmmaking; Spencer Susser’s tale of young love and the zombie apocalypse; Justin Nowell’s Acting for the Camera, in which orgasms serve as acting lessons; and much more. Wholphin editors Brent Hoff and Emily Doe will be in attendance with filmmakers Spencer Susser, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Justin Nowell for the screening, so stick around afterwards for a Q&A!
