“Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. is the internationally known rapper Lil’ Wayne — his most recent album went platinum in a week, and he just might be the voice of his generation. But this ain’t no VH1 rock doc. Rather, it is an intoxicating journey into the thoughts and world of an extremely complicated man whose creative force is something to behold. Lil’ Wayne never stops recording — he has a portable studio that he carries around in a black bag, and it allows him to lay down a track anytime, anywhere. →

As the first DVD to be released under the Arthouse Films label, New Video proudly presents “HERB & DOROTHY.” This film tells the extraordinary story of a postal clerk and a librarian who managed to build one of the most important contemporary art collections in history with very modest means.
There’s a good chance if you’re reading this, you’re a relatively intelligent and artsy introvert who, more often than not, plops down in front a computer only to find that two hours later, you’ve accomplished really nothing except discovered some new content online and perhaps acquired a need for eye bleach.
If you aren’t such a person, I can help you with that. Except hopefully, you won’t need the eye bleach afterwards.

The simple elegance of an oxford shoe, the molded comfort of an Eames Lounge, the militaristic utility of a trench coat–there’s something about each that is undeniably right. →

I was raised in Helsinki, Finland. I grew up in the suburb and my dad always took my family to art openings. He’s a graphic designer and I guess growing up seeing a lot of art influenced me. Eventhough I wasn’t too interested in art at a young age, I eventually started drawing-it was pretty late, maybe, 19 or so. After that, there was no stopping me… →
