Los Angeles Premier of Terry Gilliam’s Magical New Film

Cinema Tuesdays curated by Flux and hosted by Nike Sportswear presents to you the new film by visionary filmmaker, Terry Gilliam, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. This film of lengthy title is Gilliam (Time Bandits, Brazil, Twelve Monkeys) and screenwriter Charles McKeown’s first collaboration since their much-celebrated The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. It stars the late Heath Ledger in his final acting performance and features Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Colin Farrell and Christopher Plummer. The film is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present-day. It tells the story of Dr. Parnassus and his extraordinary ‘Imaginarium’, a travelling show where members of the audience get an irresistible opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom. A Sony Pictures Classics release, The Imaginarium opens in Los Angeles theatres on December 25th.

This special evening is part of Cinema Tuesdays, a monthly series curated by Flux celebrating innovative film at The Montalbán, Nike Sportswear’s unique retail and special events theatre in Hollywood.
