My strongest impression of Hong Kong is colored by Wong Kar Wai movies and its culinary reputation, so needless to say I’m not surprised that the city boasts a lively music scene as well. Time Out Hong Kong and Metal Postcard Records (the label that brought you that strange London School of Economics video not long ago) present a podcast of 10 songs from the Hong Kong underground music scene. The playlist contains familiar western genres that bring to mind everyone from Aphex Twin to Belle & Sebastian.
