While most of the kids around me grew up listening to Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys and B2K, I spent a good majority of my life growing up and listening to Japanese rock, hip-hop, and ska music. When I realized how out of my way I had to go in order to get my fix of Japanese music, (either by driving at least 10 miles away to an exclusive foreign music store or doing it the old-fashioned way and having CDs shipped over from Japan with ridiculous shipping fees), I eventually gave in and started listening to the bands and names everybody knew on MTV’s TRL. So you can imagine when I heard about this, it tasted almost as good as my mama’s homemade cooking.
