Inlets – “Bright Orange Air”
Sebastian Krueger is the “bedroom troubadour” of Inlets, which plays folk music that is choral and classical-sounding, similar to that of another classicist, Owen Pallett (formerly Final Fantasy). “Bright Orange Hair” has an operatic air that’s gentle and subdued. Vocal harmonies weave in and out between guitar and drums like wintry winds. This is music for the cold season. Inlets’ debut record Inter Arbiter features guest appearances by Angel Deradoorian of Dirty Projectors and Zach Condon of Beirut. It comes out on April 20, 2010.
