Quantic – “Addis to Axum”

In conjunction with the release of Mochilla’s Timeless DVD series, DJ Quantic has released an exclusive mix of his record finds in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, where he met legendary jazz composer Mulatu Astatke. The mix features Quantic’s entire set at the Luckman Theater on the night of Astatke’s performance last February, comprising over 30 years of East African music.
