Cultural Crossroads II
Los Angeles, CA
05/20/10-05/25/10

For those of you who don’t know, Los Angeles Tribal is an association that promotes interest in the decorative arts and design and this year, LA Tribal is proud to present their annual exhibition of this year, Cultural Crossroads II. The show began on May 20 and runs until the 25th so you still have a few days to check it out. This year’s show will be a ‘phantom’ gallery show and will offer public appraisal days for Tribal art. Cultural Crossroad II showcases authentic, traditional art coming straight from Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas. Not only do you get a taste of art from all over the world, but it can be yours too if you’re willing to spend a little. The traditional art for sale includes masks, sculptures, textiles and jewelry.

Cultural Crossroads II also will host a Benefit evening for LACMA’s Decorative Arts & Design Council on May 22nd from 5 P.M to 10 P.M. LACMA’s Decorative Arts & Design Council promotes interest in the decorative arts and design while raising funds from LACMA’s collection, which includes 4,400 plus objects, spanning from the medieval period to today.
