For those of you who don’t know, Los Angeles Tribal is an association that promotes interest in the decorative arts and design and this year, LA Tribal is proud to present their annual exhibition of this year, Cultural Crossroads II. Despite having attended my fair share of performances over the past 3 years, I popped my El Rey cherry on Wednesday night. I don’t often frequent the higher-profile venues in L.A., not due to some indier-than-thou aversion, but mostly because I do a miserable job of following concert calendars and shows at places like the Fonda and El Rey tend to sell out before I can get tickets.
