Lazarides is ecstatic to announce the first U.S. solo exhibition of Jonathan Yeo. As the third show in the temporary Beverly Hills space, Yeo will be showcasing his most ambitious exhibition as of yet to share with the world. He has been celebrated for his oil-painted portraits of famous subjects including Dennis Hopper, Nicole Kidman and Tony Blair but his most career-marking art piece was produced when the White House reneged on a commission for him to paint a portrait of President George W. Bush. He went ahead anyway and created a collage parody out of hardcore porno magazines. The image was presented at Lazarides London in August 2007 and became notorious around the world. Yeo has also created images featuring nudes and botanical studies with source material which contradicts their natural beauty.
