Rendition2: An Exhibition of Los Angeles Visual Culture

Rendition 2 presents work by artists involved in the first Rendition curated by Eyeone for Scion. The exhibit will be held at the newly expanded hold Up Art Gallery in the center of the city of Angels. The exhibit is titled Rendition 2, alluding to the idea that the creative work presented are often rendered or recreated under layers of “corrective” paint. The term also refers to the rendering of what most know as life in Los Angeles. Artists who will be presenting their work

World Cup 2010

World Cup @ Crewest

As the World Cup approaches, Crewest wants to celebrate the event held every four years by hosting the “World Cup @ Crewest”, an urban exhibition uniting people together through their common love of a game and the arts. In hopes of bringing art and soccer fans together, the exhibit showcases customized soccer balls donated by PUMA as well as each artist’s works. Artists for the event include Vyal, Huit and Man One whose artwork is primarily graffiti based. Other artists include Crol and Travis Moore, whose artwork is based on portraitures of actual soccer stars from this year’s World Cup.

The SNO Experiment

An observatory beneath the earth? Yes, it is in fact-true. The Sudbury Neutrino Observatory is not your ordinary telescope. The SNO was built in Ontario, Canada designed to detect neutrinos produced by fusion reactions in the sun.

“The Jungle Girl”

In January 2007, a young woman was captured by villagers in an isolated region of Cambodia. The refuge appeared to be disconnected from human society and uncultivated after years of living in the forest. The press quickly caught wind, labeling her the “Jungle Girl.”
