Rendition 2 presents work by artists involved in the first Rendition curated by Eyeone for Scion. The exhibit will be held at the newly expanded hold Up Art Gallery in the center of the city of Angels. The exhibit is titled Rendition 2, alluding to the idea that the creative work presented are often rendered or recreated under layers of “corrective” paint. As the World Cup approaches, Crewest wants to celebrate the event held every four years by hosting the “World Cup @ Crewest”, an urban exhibition uniting people together through their common love of a game and the arts. In hopes of bringing art and soccer fans together, the exhibit showcases customized soccer balls donated by PUMA as well as each artist’s works. Artists for the event include Vyal, Huit and Man One whose artwork is primarily graffiti based. Other artists include Crol and Travis Moore, whose artwork is based on portraitures of actual soccer stars from this year’s World Cup.
